Elena Sánchez Blair shared special moments from the star-studded wedding of her sister Lauren Sánchez to Jeff Bezos.
While Lauren’s estranged brother Michael wasn’t invited to the wedding, her brother Paul and half-sister Elena were part of the $50 million nuptials in Venice.
Days after the wedding festivities concluded, Elena took a moment this week to share behind-the-scenes photos from the event.

Elena shared two black-and-white photos alongside the caption, “This is what I will remember…our family so full of love and joy. Love you both so much.”
The first photo captured Lauren smiling away as a guest hugged her, and the second captured her laughing with Elena seated next to her.

When Lauren came across the photos, she stopped to reflect on how she was the “luckiest girl in the world.”
“I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have you as my best friend,” the former journalist commented. “I also love how we get to witness each other’s lives. I love you.”

Elena responded to Lauren’s comment and declared, “we are the luckiest.”
Lauren grew up in Albuquerque and was 7 years old when her parents divorced.

Her family “came from nothing,” she said during a 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“I used to sleep in the back of my grandmother’s car when she would go clean houses, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have a career,” she said. “Working is part of my DNA. I enjoy it….”

On the other hand, her estranged brother Michael claimed to The Times in June 2025 that their parents “were successful and wealthy.”
Lauren was 13 when her father welcomed Elena with his next wife.

“My sister and I are so close that our relationship is sometimes hard for others to understand,” Elena wrote on Instagram in 2023.
“It’s hard to describe. We get into our own world instantly when we are together.”

Describing their relationship as “rare” and “conflict-free,” Elena added, “We support and care for each other unconditionally. She sees me and understands me like nobody else … I am so lucky to be loved by her.”
While Elena and Paul attended the lavish Venetian wedding, her other brother Michael reportedly did not get an invite because of their tense relationship.

The estranged siblings have not been on speaking terms ever since Michael was engaged in legal battles with her current husband Jeff Bezos.
The Amazon founder accused Michael of leaking intimate text messages shared privately between him and Lauren during the early stages of their romance.

“It’s clear they were sent to others. There are, like, 20 d*** pics. Lauren likely shared them with multiple girlfriends, not in a malicious way, that’s not her style, but when she’s in love, she got a kick out of sharing them,” he claimed.
“One time she tried to show me one and I was like, ‘What the f*** is wrong with you? I don’t want to see that!’”

Lauren and Jeff tied the knot in front of roughly 200 guests, which included Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Kim Kardashian, Orlando Bloom, and others.
The Emmy-winning journalist was walked down the aisle by her sons Nikko and Evan, and her teen daughter Ella served as her maid of honor.
“Ella’s original; she beats to her own drum. She had never had a fitting before, and she loved it. She’s going to look amazing. It has been the most fun dressing all the kids,” the newlywed bride told Vogue ahead of the wedding.
